Traditional talent agencies are built on transactions, not relationships. Meryl set out to create something different: an agency that treats talent as partners, not products. The challenge was to build a brand that balanced credibility and commercial sharpness with warmth, integrity, and personality — one that felt bold, human, and unmistakably Meryl.

The Strategy

The strategy combined head and heart. We set out to build a brand that felt as bold and original as the people it represents: one that thinks strategically, acts quickly, and stays loyal through every stage of a career. Visually, we drew on nostalgic 1950s optimism and paired it with a modern editorial sensibility. Every detail was chosen to convey creativity, integrity, and humanity in equal measure.

The Solution

We built a visual identity that’s unapologetically bold and full of character — anchored by Ruby Pie’s namesake and a brand with real flavour.

At its core sits a monochromatic palette of Ruby Glaze and Custard Cream — simple yet striking, with just enough contrast to make every detail sing. This restraint gave the brand its strength: one strong idea, executed with precision. Halftone patterns and layered textures added tactility and depth, creating a nostalgic, print-inspired feel that nods to classic diner design and elevated by subtle halftone treatments that bring cohesion without losing individuality.

The result is an identity that feels crafted, human, and deliberately playful. Confident in its simplicity. Memorable in its detail. And an aesthetic that leaves you wanting more.
